If you didn't give us your feedback yet, feel free to fill out an evaluation so we can do better next year.
Speaking of next year, we're already planning it! Want to be on Team Summit? We start planning on most Mondays beginning in September. Stay tuned for an application or contact Shelly Caviness at shellyk23@hotmail.com
Thanks to many wonderful people who made this year's Summit a HUGE success: Sean Swarner was our keynote, breakout sessions by Rotary International with a kickoff by Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre Group were super fun. The Summit us funded by our asset-building sponsors. HUGS TO ALL!: 1st Bank of Arapahoe County, King Soopers, HealthONE Centennial Medical Plaza, the Community Asset Project, First American State Bank, Wagner CAT, the cities of Aurora, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village Glendale and Centennial, as all the schools and individuals who purchased Asset Signs.
Congratulations to our newest Asset Champion: Bill Richardson.

Know an Asset Champion? Then nominate one in 2008.
Why Assets? Dr. Monte Moses says it best. "If we increase the average number of Assets a child has to 20, we help reduce their risk-taking behaviors by 50%. And if we increase the number of Assets a child possesses to 30, we can almost eliminate their risk-taking behaviors altogether! Let's teach them how to take the RIGHT risks!". Check out the Search Institute website for lots of great research and information, or browse through our website for practical, every day, ordinary asset-building stuff.
Browse through our website and you'll find ideas for building assets at home, in school, and other places. We have several handouts that you're welcome to reprint at any time, or feel free to "cut and paste" any of this information into your own handouts and newsletters.
If you have any questions, or have ideas for our website, feel free to contact margieadams@comcast.net or the Cherry Creek School District Prevention Office at
